Courtney Bowers is an American missionary to Taiwan who has served there since 1997 and has been actively involved in creation ministry since 2003. She is passionate about equipping believers and reaching the next generation with the truth of God’s Word.

After earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, Courtney received her M.A. in Bible from Capital Bible Seminary (now part of Lancaster Bible College) in Maryland, where she sensed God’s call to missions. Through relationships with Chinese friends and her work at the U.S. Patent Office, God led her to Taiwan, where she has now lived for nearly three decades.

Courtney teaches English at a Christian college in Zhongli, where many students are not believers but are open to the gospel. She is deeply involved in her local church, teaching children’s Sunday school with an emphasis on creation, leading prayer meetings, participating in worship, and discipling others as a small group leader. She is also actively engaged in evangelism among both Chinese and English speakers.

She serves on the board of Creation Taiwan, part of the All-Asian Creation Association, and regularly teaches creation topics to both children and adults. Courtney is especially passionate about seeing creation teaching grow in Taiwan and helping students build a strong, biblical foundation for their faith.
