Dr. Dan Reynolds is a retired organic chemist living in Raleigh, NC. He earned his doctorate in organic chemistry from UT Austin and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 30 years. He currently teaches science classes at a nearby Christian college.

He is well versed in many of the theological and scientific arguments for biblical creation and intelligent design. He belongs to the Triangle Association for the Science of Creation (TASC), a local creation group. He also is a teacher for Creation Tours, a creationist group that gives tours through secular science museums from a creationist perspective. He has written dozens of articles and made numerous presentations on creation.

Signature Talks

Scientific Evidence for a Creator:
A review of the evidence for intelligent design including the origin of the universe, the fine tuning of physics, the origin of life, the Cambrian explosion, and design features of planet Earth.

The Theology of Creation:
A review of the verses from the Old and New testaments that support the young earth interpretation of Genesis 1-11. Old earth creation interpretations are also discussed.

A Recent, Rapid, Global Flood and the Age of the Earth:
This talk includes soft dinosaur tissue, intact biomolecules from ancient organisms, radiocarbon in fossils, the geological implications of the eruption at Mt. St Helens, evidence for accelerated nuclear decay, the unreliability of radiometric dating including isochrons, polonium radiohalos as evidence for the Flood, the ubiquity of megasequences as evidence for a global Flood, the Missoula Flood, and a discussion of catastrophic plate tectonics.

Problems with Abiogenesis:
Many of the difficulties for abiogenesis are discussed (monomer synthesis, chirality problem, dilution problem, time problem, information problem, UV light problem, the chemoselectivity problem, etc.) Weaknesses of the RNA World hypothesis are discussed.
